Mrs. Deloris Pollitt Manning, 75, Milroy, died at 4:45 p.m. Thursday at the Rush Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

Mrs. Manning was born in Milroy, Reb. 1, 1905, the daughter of Otis and Maude Richey Smith. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Rushville. Her husband, Lester Pollitt, preceded her in death in 1961.

She is survived by one son, Robert E. Pollitt, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; five daughters: Mrs. Wilbur G. (Joan) Moore, Rushville, Mrs. Melvin (Lou Ellen) Cathey, Westport, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Watson, Greensburg, Mrs. John (Phyllis) Dugan, Greenwood and Mrs. Bernard (Carolyn) Leising, Connersville; one brother, Lawrence L. Smith, R.R.8, Rushville; one sister, Mrs. Mary Alford, Connersville, 28 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

The services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Mosters and Sons Mortuary in Rushville with the Rev. Curtis Baxter officiating and with burial in the Milroy Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday.
