The daughter of Joseph and Mary Belle (Bovard) McKibben, Hannah was a school teacher. She lived with three of her sisters Sarah, Mary and Martha, her entire life. In 1900, they were all living in Mount Vernon, Knox County, Ohio. On Aug. 23, 1900, Hannah's sister Martha, aged 62, married her cousin John N. McKibben and moved to Iowa.
Hannah died intestate on January 29, 1902, at the age of 71. Her will was probated February 21, 1902.
