Abel, Allen J. Age 88, of Roseville, on July 26, 2008. Retired 3M employee and member of the Model ‘A' Club. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eleanor and son-in-law, Ed Fitzgerald. He is survived by his daughters, Jackie Fitzgerald and Janice (Wallace) Huff; grandchildren, Michael and Michelle Fitzgerald, Jerry and Steve Huff; sister, Lucille Snyder and sister-in-law, Evelyn Abel; special niece, Shirley Wiebold; devoted caregiver, Mary Ann Dweh; and forever canine companion, Rusty. Also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Thursday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (2048 N. Hamline Ave., Roseville). Visitation one hour prior to services at church Thursday. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Arr. Roseville Memorial Chapel, 651-631-2727.
