Lester L. Snyder, 69, of Barberton, Ohio, former resident of Franklin, died Tuesday night in Rocky River, Ohio, at his daughter's home.

He is a former employee of Joy Manufacturing Co., residing in Miller Park Apartments for several years. Mr. Snyder was affiliated with Lakewood Lodge No. 601, Lake Erie Conservetory and the Eagles Club.

Surviving are one son, Richard L. Snyder of Franklin; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Ellen) Redifer of Rocky River, Ohio; four brothers, Floyd and Dale of Barberton, Ohio, and Harold and Norman of Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Getty (Irma) Garrett of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace E. Kahn Snyder and one brother, Lehman.

Friends will be received at the Manley Funeral Home, Cleveland, from 7 to 10 p.m today and 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Friday. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron, O.
