Thomas McIntyre was the son of William McIntyre and Rosanna Campbell McIntyre. Thomas married twice. His first wife was Deziah/Desire Barker. He was the father of eight children with Desire. Desire died in 1827 in Hector, Tompkins County, New York. Thomas married a second time to Ruth Collony. He was the father of thirteen children. Thomas was a farmer and Methodist Episcopal minister.
