William H. Smith, 88, Dead at Clarkston
Funeral services for William H. Simth, 88, who died Thursday night at 9 p.m. at the Asotin County Memorial Hospital, will be held Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. from Merchant's Chapel with the Rev. F. O. Sapp officiating. Burial will be at Vineland Cemetery.
Smith had been a patient at the hospital for the last two weeks.
He was born April 16, 1960 at Fellowsville, W. Va. to Jonathan and Hanna Riffle Smith. He came west to Kansas and then Montana, then he moved to Clarkston in 1916. He made his home at 1021 8th Street. He was a member of the Advent Christian Church. Mrs. Smith preceded him in death, July 1947.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Jack McLeod, Clarkston; two sons, Theo Smith, Oakridge, Ore. and Roscoe C. Smith, San Diego, Calif.
