Mr. Boyd was born July 19, 1872, in Pennsylvania. (actually Clinton, Clinton, Iowa). To Lester Norton Boyd and Mary Elizabeth Newmyer.

Survivors include one son, Glen Boyd, Potlatch; three daughters, Mrs. John R. Brown, Kelso, WA; Mrs. Fern Scott, Empire OR; and Mrs. Florence Stewart, North Bend, OR; a brother, Charles Boyd, Moscow; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
