Gertrude H. Bentley, 103, a resident of Clarkston since 1943, died of infirmities of age at Rest Haven nursing home at 1:30 Friday morning.

She had been a resident at the nursing home for seven years. Before that she lived with her daughter, Willetta Randall, at 737 Riverview Blvd.

Mrs. Bentley was born Aug. 28, 1872, at Wilkes-Barre, Pa., the daughter of Charles H. and Catherine Lewillin. She attended school and grew to womanhood there.

She moved to Livingston. Mont., in 1886 and married George W. Husted there March 26, 1893. He died in 1922. She married Gilbert Bentley at Reardon, Wash., Oct. 20, 1927. He died in 1943.

Surviving in addition to her daughter are five grandchildren, five great- grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

The burial ceremony will be conducted at 10 this morning at Vineland Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles W. May, pastor of the Church of the Nativity (Episcopal) officiating.
