Daniel V. Allen, 70 years old, 1231 South Tenth Street, died at Union Hospital at 1:40 o'clock Saturday morning. He is survived by two daughters, Effie Risley, Terre Haute; Bertha Ralph, Dayton, Ohio; one son, E.P. Allen of Zenia, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Deer, Terre Haute, and Mrs. Nell Thompson, Miami, Fla.; three brothers, Lee and John of Terre Haute and Frank of Bicknell; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the Gillis Funeral home pending funeral arrangements.
