Deceased, whose maiden name was Oda May, was born in the Vanderhoof school district, Jasper county, March 15, 1878; married to John M. Swick; and they were the parents of three children. These, Dollie Benefield, Misses Dessie and Zola Swick and her husband survive.
She has also brothers and sisters living as follows: Clarence and Winston May, and Mrs. Ivan Reed, Newton; Mrs. Ira Dudley, Springfield, and a half-brother William Mitchell, Pasadena, California.
Mrs. Swick was a good, kind, christian woman, wife and mother. Her friends were many and all will hear of her death with regret.
Funerals services will be held at the Presbyterian church, Wednesday, February 25. Burial at Riverside cemetery.
