Chad Michael Hagan, 23, of Westville, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2008, from injuries sustained from a horrific accident involving a car and his motorcycle. He was born on Sept. 14, 1984, in Danville, the son of Charles and Linda (Boyer) Hagan.

Chad is survived by his father, Charles, his mother, Linda; his two brothers, Chuck Hagan Jr. and Scott Hagan, and Chad's daughter, Alexis Brianne Hagan. His very special friend of 18 years that has been like a father to him, Brad Turner and his boys, Zach and Cole Turner also survive Chad, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. His grandfather, Fred Boyer, grandmother, Artina Cook, grandfather, Vern Cook, and Chad's wife, Kimberly Hagan, and their unborn child, precede him in death.

Chad attended Bismarck High School. On June 2, 2007, Chad married Kimberly Stewart at Mann's Chapel, south of Rossville. He was employed as semi-driver working at Sygma Corp. Trucking Company in Danville.

Chad was very much into his family. He enjoyed being outdoors, being with his dog, hunting, fishing, rebuilding big trucks, motorcycles, and just plain having fun. Chad never met a stranger, would help anyone in need, and is very loved by his family, his best friend, his mom Linda, his precious daughter; Alexis, and many, many friends.

A celebration of Chad's life will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2008, at the CrossRoads Christian Church in Danville with internment to follow at Oakhill Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his wife, Kimberly. Officiating will be Miles Clark. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 30 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund as be set aside for their daughter, Alexis Hagan at the Landmark Credit Union in Westville. E-mail condolences may be sent to the family at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com
