Funeral services were held Friday at 9 a.m. for Mrs. Elvin J. Ledet, the former Alcidie Chouest, in our Lady of Prompt Succor church in Golden Meadow.
Interment followed in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Mrs. Ledet, 34, died at her residence Wednesday, November 17, at 7:30 a.m. She was the first treasurer of the Golden Meadow Parent Teachers association, and is survived by three children: Betty Ann, Billie [Billy] and Jackie [Jack] Ledet.
Falgout funeral home of Galliano was in charge.
