Born in Desoto, Missouri, returned to Memphis when her father was transferred from a St Louis hospital to Memphis where he died. Life long Memphian she died at Baptist Hospital East. Buried beside her first husband Junior Priest. Family members also buried Forest Hill. Sister, Violet Glover, grandfather Andrew Jackson Parker, uncles General Jackson Parker and Jerry Parker.
