Saturday, August 29, 1998, TIMES RECORD Obituary:

Flora M. Neidecker, 73 of Van Buren died Wednesday, August 26, 1998, at Sparks Regional Medical Center ICU after having heart surgery. She was a member of the Catcher Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the widow of Harold Neidecker.

Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. today in Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Kay Lincks of Van Buren; five sisters, Lorene Helm, Loral Peters and Audrey Moses, all of Van Buren, Zelma Brisco of Fort Smith, and Betty Stockton of Rudy; one brother, Clyde Yakley of Kibler; one grandson, Harold Gene Lincks of Van Buren; and one great-grandson, Jarrod Lincks.

Pallbearers will be Brad and Chase Wheeler, James and Steve Moses, and Wesley and Nick Stockton. (End of obit)

Flora M. Neidecker was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. Harold Ray Neidecker; her parents, Herman M. and Carrie Rachel (Wood) Yakley; her sister, Patricia (Yakley) Knox; and her brother, Herman "Junior" Yakley Jr.

She was a very hard worker and would hoe the fields in the Kibler bottoms for her brother, Herman "Junior" Yakley. She kept her home spotless. She shared her home in the Van Buren countryside with her parents, her daughter, son-in-law and grandson. She was compassionate and generious. After becoming a widow, she never remarried.
