TIMES RECORD Obituary:

Patricia "Trisha" Ann Knox, 53, of Fort Smith died Monday, July 1, 1996, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Albert Pike Christian Church (later became, Crossview Christian Church). She was also affectionately known as "Sissy".

Survivors include her husband, Ray; one daughter, Jackie Kay Jackson of Fort Smith; two sons, Tommy Ray Knox of Van Buren and Phillip Charles Knox of Fort Smith; six sisters, Betty Stockton, Lorene Helm, Flora Mae Neidecker, Loral Peters and Audrey Moses, all of Van Buren, and Zelma Brisco of Fort Smith; one brother, Clyde Yakley of Kibler; and four grandchildren.

Funeral service was held July 3, 1996 at Albert Pike Christian Church (later became, Crossview Christian Church). Burial was at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Harold Lincks, Steve Moses, Roy Sessions, Brad Wheeler, James Moses and Wesley Stockton. Honorary pallbearers were Ray Brisco, Jeff Moses, Charles Stockton, D.J. Lincks, Ricky Moses, Gene DeLong, Hayden Knox, Herman Douglas, Charlie Stone, Jerry Knox, Ricky Stone and Eddie Stone. End of obit.

Patricia Ann (Yakley) Knox was preceded in death by her infant son, Bernard Ray Knox Jr.; her parents; Herman M. and Carrie Rachel (Wood) Yakley Sr.; and her brother, Herman Yakley Jr.

After a long battle with colon cancer, Patricia succumbed to her illness.
