Georgia Isolanthia Sanders died August 16, 1982, at a Spokane hospital.

She was born July 26, 1903, in Bridgeport, the daughter of Douglas G. and Viola Hanford.

She attended school in Bridgeport, and owned the Bohemian and Lincoln Cafes in Brewster during World War II, then the Hiway Cafe in Dishman and the Merritt Cafe in Spokane. She had lived in Wenatchee for ten years.

She was married to Robert Sanders.

Survivors include one son, George F. Hatch, Spokane; one sister, Margaret O. Lilly, Bridgeport; two brothers, Phillip Hanford, Brewster, and R. Emerson Hanford, Bridgeport; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 20, 1982, at Barnes Chapel in Brewster with the Reverend Kevin Dow officiating. Interment at the Bridgeport Cemetery.
