OBITURARY MR. JAMES A. JONES.....James A. Jones retired farmer of 1815 Hamilton Drive, died today at Rutherford Hospital after an illness of three months. He was 77 years of age. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday from Jennings and Ayres Chapel with F. S. Harper and Roy Burgess officating. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery. Mr. Jones was born in Cannon County son of the late Jimmy C. Jones and Elizabeth Owens Jones. He has lived in Rutherford County for the past six years and was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Hassie Mai Smithson Jones, Murfreesboro; a son, Clyde P. Jones, Murfreesboro; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene Bell, Milton; a brother, Lillard Jones, Murfreesboro; and eight grandchildren. Friends will be activive pallbears.
