Following an illnes of ten days, Mrs. I.F. Barton, 80, life long resident of the Brownsboro community died at 7:20 o'clock Saturday morning.
Her death occurred at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Worsham, south of Brownsboro.
Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the Leagueville Cemetery where internment followed.
Deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mammie Cotten of Brownsboro, Mrs. Ida McClain of Brownsboror, and Mrs. Ethel Worsham, south of Brownsboro; three sisters, Mrs. Abe Lindsay, West Texas, Mrs. Nora Brown of Brownsboro, and Sinie Brown of Brownsboro, a step-son, Tom Barton of near Brownsboro and a step-daughter, Mrs. Lizzie Armstrong of Blooming Grove.
Mrs. I.F. Barton was before her marriage, Miss Betty Laymance.
She had been a lifelong member of the primitive Baptist faith.
