BANGERT EDDY A retired United Airlines Lead Mechanic for 28 years passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2003, age 77. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie Bangert, his son Louis Bangert and his wife Darlene of Union City, daughter Lissy Diller of San Leandro, and son Rene Bangert of Hayward. His grandsons Louis Lee, Matthew Lee and Joshua Bangert, great-grandchildren Francisco Lee and Leticia Lee, other close relatives and friends, especially close and dear friend Sharon McGrath and her extended family. Friends and family are invited to attend a 6:00 p.m. Vigil service on Tuesday, May 13th at Machado's Hillside Chapel, 1051 Harder Rd., Hayward. On Wednesday, May 14th, a procession will leave the mortuary at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass and Liturgy at St. Bede's Catholic Church, in Hayward. Burial will follow at Lone Tree Cemetery, Hayward.
