DEATH TAKES PIONEER
Mary H. Coons, Long Time Resident of Goddard, Passes Sunday
Mary H. Coons, 71, pioneer resident of Goddard, died at her home late yesterday.
Mrs. Coons came to Goddard from Illinois in 1873. She was a member of the Goddard Methodist church.
Surviving are her husband, F. C.; one son, O. F. of Gothenberg, neb.; two grandsons, Eugene Allen, 323 South Emporia, and Max Cons of Gothenberg; four brothers, J. C. Barney, Tohatchi, N.M., James C. Barney, South Haven, Kan., E. D. Barney of Sedgwick, and Frank Barney of Kin, Colo., and three half-brothers.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Downing mortuary.

COONS--Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Coons will be held in the Goddard Methodist church at 2 p. m. Wednesday with Rev. Archie Madison officiating. Burial in the North Goddard cemetery. Downing mortuary in charge.
