Funeral service for Matilda Smith, 74, Rush Springs, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Rush Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Friend officiating.
Mrs. Smith was born in Charles City, Iowa, in 1898. She moved to Edmond at an early age, then to Fletcher for 28 years. She had been living in Rush Springs since November.
She married William H. (Bill) Smith Oct. 3, 1932 in Oklahoma City. She died Saturday morning in Grady Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her husband of the home; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Lilliam Grineger, Oklahoma City; one niece, Mrs. Ruby Ford of Beardon, Ark.
Interment will be in the Rush Springs cemetery under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home of Fletcher.
