Mrs. Sarah Jane Hardin died this morning at her home, 409 South Third street. She was 76 years old.
Mrs. Hardin was born at Frankfort, Ky., coming to Iola in 1895, where she has since made her home. She was a member of the Trinity Methodist church.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Greenwall, Aurora, Ill.; two sons, Roy H. Dodge City and Claude R., Iola; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Archer, Sarcopie, Mo.; a brother, William Smith, Sarcopie, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, at the Trinity Methodist church. Burial will be at the Highland cemetery.
