Mrs. Etta Reser, 81, lifelong resident of Hickory County, died at the home of her son, Dewey Mabary, south of Preston, at 11 a. m. yesterday, after an illness of several months.
Mrs. Mabary was born near Cross Timbers. She had lived in the Preston community the past 51 years. Her first husband was Ernest Mabary, and several years after his death she was married to J. E. Reser, who also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Preston Methodist Church.
She is survived by another son, Lee, also of Preston; five grandsons, eight grandchildren and a niece, Mrs. Jewell Ames of Fristoe.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Preston Methodist Church. Burial will be in Fisher Cemetery under direction of Hathaway Funeral Home.
