Philip P. Schuyler was originally buried beneath the Dutch Church in Albany, NY.
In 1866, the Albany Common Council passed a resolution authorizing the disinterment and transferal of all remains still located in the State Street
Burial Grounds and Albany church cemeteries to Albany Rural Cemetery. Among those transferred were original interments from:

A section at Albany Rural called the "Church Ground" was set aside and marked out by church to receive these remaining interments.

An interesting fact to add to his bio is that he took the surname of his mother's family as his father was born Pieter Diercks per Peter Peck Schuylerville NY 12/15/2011
Per an application for membership in the National Society of the Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims, he was "Capt. of Provincial Forces 1667 and Capt. of Foot Co. of Schenectady 1669. Magistrate of Fort Orange 1655-1679."
