Marvin Daniel Bailey, 82, of 945 Rileyville Road in Rileyville, died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at the Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Bailey was born March 23, 1924, in Rileyville, and was the son of the late William Albert Bailey and Ada Florence Deavers Bailey. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was employed at Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Md. for 25 years, worked as as a director of safety and was a textile worker at Avisco. On Dec. 8, 1945, he married Stella Mae Cullers, who survives. He is also survived by three sons, Marvin Daniel Bailey Jr. of Sumter, S.C., Randy J. Bailey of Rileyville and Jeffrey William Bailey of Stephens City; two sisters, Gladys Brass of Cleveland, Ohio and Ruth Koepke of Luray; six grandchildren and nine Great-grandchildren. Elder Jeff Taylor will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Luray Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial will be at Mount View Cemetery in Rileyville. (The Page News and Courier-Luray, Va.)
