In 1779 Aaron was seen in New Fairfield, CT with a woman he told the community was his wife. Priscilla (Clark) Wilder then filed for divorce. After the divorce was final Aaron Wilder married Joanna (Temple) Crawford, "widow" of John Crawford on 26 Dec 1784.
