Carol Wulfjen, age 63 of Breckenridge, died Thursday, July 24, 2008 at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 26th, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Carol Jean Wulfjen was born on October 6, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents, Charles Wilson "C.W." Wulfjen Jr. and Muriel Florine Martin Wulfjen. She grew up in Breckenridge and graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1964. Carol was a member of the Woman's Forum, as well as the First United Methodist Church, where she served in the United Methodist Women organization. She was preceded in death by her parents and one great-niece, Lora Lee Wulfjen.
Carol is survived by: one brother, Charles Wulfjen and wife, Maretta of Breckenridge; two nephews, Scott Wulfjen of Breckenridge and Ray Wulfjen and wife, Lisa of Weatherford; two great nephews, Koby Wulfjen and David Baker, both of Weatherford; one great niece, Shelby Wulfjen of Weatherford; and five cousins, Robert Howard of Lago Vista, Ed Cowling of Arlington, Grady Cowling of Bridgeport, Harriet Garrison of Paradise and Phyllis Cowling of Wichita Falls.
