Anita Conchin Anderson, 56, of Franklin, Tenn., died Thursday.
A graduate of David Lipscomb College, she received her master's degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She was a longtime educator in Williamson County, where she served as teacher and principal. She was an active community leader and member of several civic organizations. She was a member of Berry's Chapel Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Jean Maples.
Survivors include her husband, Rogers C. Anderson; parents, Willard and Vonda Conchin; sons, Wesley Gamble, Russell Gamble, Todd Maples and wife Julie, Ryan Anderson and wife Laura, and Travis Anderson and wife Wren; daughter, Laura Anderson and husband Kevin Howard; brothers, Gary Vestal Conchin and wife Mary Ann and Barton Willard Conchin; sister, Tena Louise Conchin; grandchildren, Chloe Rita and Zachary Maples.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Berry's Chapel Church of Christ with Andy Baker and Ryan Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Travis Anderson, Charlie Beauchamp, Gary Conchin Jr., Jason Conchin, Kevin Howard, Brian King, Charles Sargent, and Bob Yeager.
