In Memory of EUNICE MAE HOFFMAN RUSCH
Eunice Mae Hoffman Rusch was born Feb. 12, 1925, at Okeene, to Pete and Eva Hoffman, and passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at the age of 92.
She attended the Model Country School in her elementary years and graduated from Okeene High School.
She married Adam Rusch in 1945 and they lived in the Okeene community her entire life.
She was a nurse's aid for the Okeene Hospital for 35 years, as well as a homemaker, and farmer's wife.
Eunice was a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church in Okeene, the Ladies VFW Auxiliary, the Hitchcock Home Extension Club, the Red Hat Ladies, the Okeene Senior Citizens, the Watonga Book Club and the Okeene Library Book Review.
She loved to drink coffee with her Ladies' Coffee Group, and to travel. She made wonderful canned pickles, and loved to crochet, knit and embroidery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Harold Hoffman, one sister, Roscina Wilkerson, and one stepson; DeVoe Cowdrey
She is survived by: one son, Terry Rusch Sr. and wife Mary of Hitchcock, one daughter, Barbara Dieterle and husband C.A. of Enid, one brother, Jerry Hoffman and wife Della of Enid; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for Eunice is 10 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017, at the Mennonite Brethren Church in Okeene, Oklahoma.
Burial follows in the Ebenfeld Cemetery in Okeene. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary of Okeene.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mennonite Brethren Church.
