Obit: The Pulaski Citizen 22 June 1960 POARCH, Calvin; funeral services for Calvin Poarch, 87, retired farmer of Giles County were held Sunday Morning at Diana Methodist Church conducted by Rev Fred Hall, pastor of the church. Burial took place in Diana Cemetery. Mr Poarch died Saturday at a nursing home in Lewisburg, TN.
A long time resident of Giles County, he was the son of William 'Dove' Carroll and Lucinda Massey Poarch. He is survived by four sons, William Eugene, Brick Church Community, Clarence E 'Preacher" of Diana, TN, ; Everett L. and Luther O. of Birmingham, AL: one daughter, Mrs Clara Hickerson of Birmingham AL.
