He is survived by his wife, Gleniss Crowther; two sons, Gilbert Milton Crowther of Orlando, Fla. and Richard Glenn Crowther of Laurel, Md,; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
A funeral was held Saturday at the Elmore-Currie Funeral Home, with interment in the Morattico Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Tom Boggess officiated.
Pallbearers were James Dawson, Garnett Crowther, R. E. Crowther, Buddy Crowther, Gary Jenkins and Steve Haynie.
