Died: On Saturday last Mrs. John Bargeron of this county, her native place, passed away from this life to enter upon her eternal march at the advanced age of 76 years. She lived almost her entire life near or at the home where she died on Saturdal last, and that life was a kind, charitable and benignly influential one in the neighborhood in which she so long lived and honored.

Mrs. Bargeron was married to Mr. John Bargeron 56 years ago and that long married life was a happy existence to both through all those years. She was indeed a help mate to her husband who survives to feel her irreparable loss in his old age. Besides him there are eight children surviving to grieve for a cherished and beloved mother whose gentle influence and kind care has left upon them its benign influence.

Her life was always of christian fortitude and loving charity towards her fellow being. It procured her the respect and esteem of all who knew her best.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hargroves who were Burke county people and whose family came to Georgia in early pioneer days.

Her body was consigned to its last rest at the Sardis church, attended to its final resting place by a large concourse of friends and relatives.
