Peter was the youngest child and only son of Erik Andreas & Petrine (Pedersdatter) Ellingson. Peter went to Little Falls Public School with his siblings and cousins. The family helped build Little Falls Lutheran Church & Cemetery. At age 33 he married for the first time, it was the second marriage for Minnie Mork Amundson, age 25. They were married for 51 years when Peter died at age 84 of a heart attack. Peter is survived by wife Minnie, son, Lee (Vivian) Ellingson, Granddaughter, Wendy (Paul) Gervasi and great granddaughter, Joni Lee Gervasi, sisters, Ida (Martin) Olson, Petra (Peter) Bestler, and many friends.
