William C. Abbott, Jr.
Age 62, of the Linwood section of Lower Chichester, PA passed away on July 23, 2008 at Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, PA.
Born in Ogden, PA, he was raised in and lived in Linwood, PA for the last 35 years. He worked for the Chichester School District in the maintenance department for 6 years retiring due to his illness in April 2008. Previously, he worked for Congoleum for over 35 years. He enjoyed woodworking and was devoted to his family.
He was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter, Jessica Abbott. He is survived by 4 children, Michelle L. Miller of North Wilmington, DE, William Abbott of Jennersville, PA, Sandra Fuller of Altoona, PA, John Abbott of Linwood, PA; his parents, William and Margaret Gifford Abbott, Sr., of Harrington, DE; 4 sisters, Linda Arcaro of Hebron, MD, Elizabeth Pleasanton of Townsend, DE, Abbie Windle and Beatrice Cook both of Hartly, DE; and 13 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday, July 28, at the MORELAND-PAGANO FUNERAL HOME, 825 Main St., Trainer, PA, where viewing will be from 10-11 am. Interment, Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
