Airman Oller died at 4 p.m. last Thursday in Madigan Army Hospital, Tacoma, WAsh., of injuries received earlier that day in a head-on collision of two vehicles near the east gate of McChord Air Force Base.
Robert Pennington an airman riding with Oller, suffered shock and minor burises and was taken to the McChord hospital.
Oller died about two hous after entering the hospital. No details of his injuries were received.
He had been serving in the Air Force for more than four years and Saw combat during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Christian Church.
He is survived by his parents, three brothers, Earl of Ft. Sheridan; Charles and Albert, at home six sister, Mrs. Juanita Lawrence, Taylorville; Mrs. Donna Travelstead, Norfolk, Ca. Miss Doris Oller, Highwood;Barbara,Joyce and Linda Kay, at home.
Remains arrived here this morning and were taken to the Bivin funeral home where friends many call.
