Mr. Davis was employed at Goodall Mills before and after his military service. Later, he was employed as a painter at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Mr. Davis enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling.
Survivors include a sister, Janet Sutton of Kansas City, Mo., and a brother, Royal G. of Rochester, N. Y.
