Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:00 AM Thursday, July 24, at St. Michael the Archangel, 14201 Nall, Leawood, KS. Burial will be at the National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS. Friends may call from 6-8:00 PM Wednesday at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS, Rosary at 6:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for his beloved children at Stanley Bank, PO Box 23008, Stanley, KS 66283. Dennis was born November 23, 1956, in Minneapolis, MN to Elizabeth and Thomas Byrnes. After spending 3 years in the U.S. Army, Dennis graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota. He married Patsy Pucci on June 6, 1987, in Kansas City, MO. He was the President and CEO of Empire Sales. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Dennis is survived by his wife Patsy, daughter Doyle, sons Thomas Clancy and Michael all of the home, his siblings and their spouses; Marguerite (George) Irwin, Peoria, IL, Mary Korte, Evanston, IL, Wm. Casey (Patty) Byrnes, Lee's Summit, MO, T. Martin (Julia) Byrnes, Duluth, MN, Ann O'Neill, Victoria MN, and many nieces and nephews.
