Miller, Bro. Noah, born in Rockingham County, Va., Oct. 22, 1829, died from the infirmities of old age, in the bounds of the English River congregation, near North English, Iowa, Sept. 19, 1912, aged 82 years, 10 months and 27 days. He was married to Frances Lowe Oct. 23, 1851. His companion, with one daughter, preceded him in death. Eleven children are still living from this union, and nearly all were present at the funeral. One brother and two sisters also survive. He and his companion united with the Church of the Brethren in 1852, in which they both lived and labored until the end. Bro. Miller was elected to the office of deacon in about 1858, in which capacity he was always found faithful. In 1856, he, with his family, moved to Keokuk County, Iowa, and settled on the farm where he lived the remainder of his days. Funeral Sept 21, at the old church, by the undersigned, assisted by Eld.
