Laura "Sis" Richardson, 89, died Wednesday at Columbia Audubon Hospital.
She was the former Laura Frick, a retired teacher at Shepherdsville Elementary School, St. Rita Catholic School, John Filson Elementary and Southern Adult Education, and an author.
Survivors: daughters, Doris Free, Betty Cozzens and Alice Frederick; a son, Bert Richardson; a brother, Jack Frick; 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Highway. Burial: Hebron. Visitation: Arch L. Heady Okolona, 8519 Preston Highway, noon-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial gifts: St. Vincent DePaul Society c/o her church.
