Ernest Lee Calvin Beeler, 60, of Stigler, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008, at the St. Johns Hospital of Tulsa.
Ernest was born on October 9, 1947, in Red Hill, Oklahoma, the son of John Wesley and Murtes Kathrine (Pinion) Beeler. Ernest attended school in Sperry. On December 15, 1966, Ernest married Janet McKinney in Claremore. They were married for twenty-seven years. Ernest worked as a wrecker driver for Story Wrecker Service in Tulsa for twenty-six years. Survivors include: his sons, Michael Lee Calvin Beeler and Ricky Lynne Beeler; his daughter, Vanetta Sue Beeler Porter; his brothers, Homer Beeler, Pete "TJ" Beeler, John Deere Beeler and Otis Beeler, his sister, Corine Kinser; ten grandchildren, Michael Lee Calvin Beeler, Jr., Amber Rochelle Baker, Brooke McKayla Jordan, Brittany Shaye Beeler, Darah Lynn Beeler, Tyler Chase Beeler, Garrett Reed Beeler, Wyatt Mathew Beeler, Dalani Jo Beeler and Haley Dawn Porter and one great grandchild, Kynslee Madison Cuminsky. Ernest is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Ernest Beeler, Ernie Beeler, "Bert" Beeler and Omer Beeler and his sister, Beatrice Beeler. Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the Unity Baptist Church with the Reverend Gary Maxwell and the Reverend Jeff Wren officiating. Pallbearers were Rick Beeler, Jeremy Porter, Junior Bruner, Junior Beeler, Walter Beeler and Wesley Beeler. Honorary pallbearers were Luther Woolbright, Homer Beeler, Garret Beeler, Wyatt Beeler and Tyler Beeler. Burial followed at the Garland Cemetery in Stigler under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home of Eufaula. .
