Mr F M Bell, aged 78 yrs died at his home near Argyle early Friday. Funeral services were conducted at the home. He leaves a devoted wife, one son, Sheriff Thad Bell, and 3 daughters, Mrs J H Allen, Mrs W S Green and Mrs S A Cathon to mourn his death.

Burial in Magnolia.Mrs Bell was unable to attend the burial on account of illness. Mr Frances M Bell was born in Dale Co, Ala, Aug 26 1844. From there he moved to Baldwin and when a young man came to Walton. At age 18 he joined Co D, First Fl Cavlry, seeing service in the Civil War.On January 5 1871 he married Miss Mary E Alford of Limestone, Fl. In 1914 they moved to Argyle from Euchee Valley. Mr Bell was father of 8 children, 4 daus & 4 sons. Four of whom, Mrs A W McCullough, Robert, Murdock and Charlie Bell having preceded him to the great beyond. He leaves a brother, Mr C T Bell of Opp, Al and sister Mrs Julia Cain of Gaskin Fl.
