Mrs. Mary Frances Benderman Dunlap, age 83, a long time resident of Hay Long Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, August 9, at the Britt Haven Nursing Home in Dunn, NC.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dunlap will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Steve Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Ott and Lela Walker Benderman. She was the wife of the late Willie H. Dunlap. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.

Survivors include one daughter: Norma (retired Army Col. Kenneth) Koetz of Savannah, GA; one son: William Ott Dunlap of Dunn, NC; two sisters: her twin, Jane Owen of Columbia and Virginia Williams of Columbia; grandchildren: Amy Koetz (Jay) Deal of Woodstock, GA, Beth Koetz (Charles) Adams of Thoamsville, GA, Toby (Amy) Pope, Aaron (Wendy) Pope, Charee Collins, Shawn Dunlap and Shaw Dunlap, all of Dunn, NC; great-grandchildren: Dillon and Bea Deal of Woodstock, GA, Billie Kate Pope and Hunter Hamilton Pope, of Dunn, NC; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mark Williams, Danny Owen, Kevin Owen, Milton Milam, Shannon Owen and retired Army Col. Douglas Baker.
