Services for Rose Mary Winfield, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Craddock Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Robert Peterson officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Born Dec. 23, 1916, in Lawrence, Mass. to Naoum Yazbek and Labebe Khoury Yazbek, she died March 28, 2005, in Edmond. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Paul Winfield on March 1, 2005; three sisters; and ten brothers.
A former resident of Lawrence Mass., she moved to this area in 1956 and was a homemaker in addition to caring for many other people's children. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
She and Elisha Winfield were married on Aug. 14, 1944, in Salisbury Beach, Mass. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1973.
Survivors include daughters, Lenora Miller and husband, Ray, Springer, Ruth Ellis and husband, Jim, Edmond, Donna Sadler, Greenville, S.C.; a son, Lonnie Joe Peters, Cleveland, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
