MRS EMILY S CURNOW OF SOULSBYVILLE DIES
Mrs Emily S Curnow, 74, died at her home in Soulsbyville Thursday morning following a long illness. Deceased was born in Summerville, now Tuolumne, from pioneer parents, Mr and Mrs James Nicholls. She spent her life in that section of the county and was the mother of a large family to whom she was most devoted but it did not blind her efforts to be kind, generous and friendly to others.
Her funeral will be held from the Burden Chapel in Sonora Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Odd Fellows Cemetery will be her last resting place.
She is survived by five sons and three daughters, Thomas Curnow of Sonora, Ed Curnow of Stockton, Elmer, Stanley and Clifford Curow of Soulsbyville, Mrs Mabel Crase of Stockton, Mrs Stella Stahl of Modesto and Miss Laura Curnow of Soulsbyville; also two sisters and two brothers, Mrs Joseph martin, Mrs Ann Davey, Alfred and George Nicholls of Soulsbyville.
