Believed to be Susannah "Susan" (Whisenand) Young, daughter of John Whisenand and Elizabeth Susong, and the the wife of Abraham Young for whom the cemetery is named. She was born in 1806 and died in 1892 according to Young family records. She and Abraham were parents to David Young, b 1829, Isaac W., b 1834, and Joseph, b 1831, also buried in this cemetery along with some of their spouses. Obituary published in the Bloomington Telephone on 9/29/1893: "Mrs. Susan Young, one of the oldest citizens of Monroe County, died at her home in Unionville, Monday, at the age of 90. She was perhaps the oldest living settler in the county, as she has spent most of her long life in the little town in which she died. She was a faithful member of the Christian Church, and it is stated that one of the first congregations of that denomination was organized in her house, where meetings were held for a long time. Her husband died 45 years ago." Based on the obituary information, she would have died Monday, 9/24/1893. Note: her birth year would be 1803 based on the obituary information.
