Clarence Jones was the husband of Elsie Anderson. Their marriage was October 4, 1919, in Hancock, Houghton, Michigan. His brother, Charles (Carl), was married to Elsie's sister, Ada.

Obituary:

Sidnaw - Clarence R. Jones, 69, passed away Saturday in Florida where he had been spending the winter.

He was born in Alba, Mich., May 17, 1895 and had resided in Sidnaw for many years and was a member of the Episcopal Church.

Mr. Jones was a vetran of World War I.

He married the former Elsie T. Anderson on October 4, 1919 in Hancock. She died on Feb. 15, 1963.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Flickema of Muskegon, Mrs. William (Beryl) Berger and Mrs. John (Helen) Selling of Manistique, five brothers, Willis of Muskegon, Carl of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., Milo and Kenneth of Manistique and Burton of Beloit, Wis., and several nieces and nephews.

The body is in the Wittum Funeral Home, L'Anse, where friends may call Thursday afternoon.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the Sidnaw Episcopal Church. Burial in the Sidnaw Cemetery.
