Linda M. Derocco 1950-2004
AUGUSTA -- Linda M. Derocco, 54, of Green Street and formerly of Anson, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at her home.
She was born in Skowhegan on June 21, 1950, a daughter of the late Ralph C. and Rose Mary (Benjamin) Quimby.
Mrs. Derocco had been employed for many years as a CNA.
She was predeceased by a brother, Dennis Quimby; and a sister, Bonnie Quimby.
Mrs. Derocco is survived by two sons, Kevin L. Derocco and Billy Joe Derocco, both of Augusta; a daughter, Ann Marie Derocco of Augusta; six brothers, Dan Quimby of Benton, Dana Quimby of Virginia Beach, Va., Arthur Quimby of North Anson, George Quimby of Skowhegan, John Quimby of North Dakota and Bryan Quimby of Skowhegan; two sisters, Donna Whitney of Athens and Sherrie Richards of Bingham; a grandson, Raymond R. Cole of Belgrade; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no public visiting hours. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Waterville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to defray funeral costs, at: DHHS, Attn.: Bonnie Petersen, State House Station 60, Augusta 04333.
