Annie Coffey was a twin sister to Fannie McKinley. She is on the right in this top picture of the Grider twins. At least I think she is the one on the right

Annie got burned really bad when she was about the age she is in the picture. They thought she might not live. I think she was playing in the fire and got burned over a large percentage of her body. Mother told me they had to carry her around on a pillow. To my knowledge there were no visable scars.

Annie was the wife of Clarence Coffey, and the mother of two daughters Claradon Adena Coffey Wilson and Wilma Alena Coffey.

When I was young, I would spend part of the summer, in Kentucky, visiting my Grandmother Grider and Grandmother Jones, also my aunts and uncles.

Annie and Clarence's home, was one of my favorite places to visit. They had no children at that time. They spent plenty of time with me and I really enjoyed it. They were such good people.

Annie died of Pneumonia.

Claradon Wilson said her Mother loved Cardinals.
