Mildred Vera Jennings Christensen
January 21, 1923 - May 18, 2000
MARION — Mildred Christensen, 77, died Thursday.
Born in Haywood County, N.C., she attended Lebanon schools, was a homemaker and member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her husband, Peter, whom she married in 1940; her daughter, Joan Ray of Marion; son, James of Marion; sisters, Alice Durham of Eugene, and Florence Milligan of Fredericksburg, Va.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
At her request no services will be held. Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Portland.
Contributions: Willamette Valley Hospice or Marion Hill Cemetery.
