Mrs. Ann Akers, an aged resident of this county, died Wednesday night about 10 o'clock at her home near Palmer's Prairie Friday.
She was about 70 years of age and leaves several children, her husband having died years ago. She was a sister of Mrs. Mel McBride, formerly of this city.
